In the year 2002, I participated in the caricature competition organized by the Izmir municipality. When my work on disabled people was chosen for the catalog, I decided to increase my efforts in caricature in addition to my paintings. Consequently, my caricatures have accompanied my 47-year painting journey for 21 years now. My urge and desire to produce has only increased as my works have been exhibited in domestic and international catalogs, museums, magazines, and newspapers.

 

Since that time, I have very much enjoyed making topical caricatures. This activity is a sport of the mind for me. My caricatures support my expressive output …
